Dare To Be Me Poem by R. Erin Milana

Dare To Be Me

Rating: 5.0

Don’t have a sexy body or a pretty face,
but I give a sincere smile
In loving someone I don’t play games,
surely you cannot have me, if it’s only for a while

I don’t like clubbing,
but I know how to have fun
I don’t like smoking,
alcohol is not my way to welcome the sun

Stubborn, and hate to be called “honey”
Never pretend, just being my self
Don’t have much money,
but give both hands to help

I’m autonomous,
but I cry when I’m feeling blue
Have a dream to become famous,
and believe that dreams do come true
