Fire Rages Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Fire Rages

Rating: 5.0

Rioters know no race
They have only ugly face
What have they to do with passion?
Leave behind plunders and only compassion?

Who is benefited out of it?
Black, white or locals who deemed it fit?
It is engineered to reap the spoils
The racial feelings is on boil

No one did any damage
For years they did manage
All of sudden carnage engineered
Many children and plunderers volunteered

You can see fire al around
What else is left to see as sound?
Country is on turmoil
The red blood is spread on soil

I wish good sense prevails
All evil designs curbed and fails
No more deaths and burning of buildings
It takes years of confidence building

Many may see it as racial upheaval
It is condemned on its arrival
No place for uncivilized acts
We must learn from history the facts

Not only properties have lost
But eroded the trust earned most
Who will heal the scars left by mistrust?
The hatred and carnage created by lust

No civilized nations may agree
We are all human beings and free
Not cast, religion.color or race may take over
We shall take all precaution not to provide cover

Not pledges alone but condemnation in strongest words
That may provide little confidence and to look forward
People may come back with tears and agony
What have we done to and lost for so many?
