Fire And Ice Poem by Echo Moon

Fire And Ice

Rating: 4.5

Fire and Ice

The world may die in Fire,
At the hands of someone with a burning desire.
Or it may die in Ice,
To pay for a some terrible vice.
Fire and Ice.

To go out in such a way as Fire...
Smoke choking me,
What I'd give to see the sea,
Death has claimed a victim.
But…

To go out in Ice…
Death taking it's time, slowly moving.
Fading in and out,
Until Death finally claims its victim.

To die in a passionate Fire,
Or hateful Ice.
Oh, what both horrible ways to go out.
If the world dies in Fire,
We'll all burn to ashes.

If the world dies in Ice,
Our dead will be frozen in time.

To go out in Fire or Ice,
Passionate Fire?
Or Hateful Ice?

Ice? Or Fire?
