Finding Peace Poem by Yasmin Khan

Finding Peace

How soothing is for a care-worn heart,
When the night blooms open at dusk,
Soft they sway in the nightly breeze,
Pouring out their delicate musk.

The five-cleft creamy sweet blossoms
Shine in the dark like bright stars,
Breathing richest of the perfumes
That mend and heal deepest scars.

Fragrances, most sweet and rich,
All around me drifts and swirl.
Memories fond of the days past
Stir as fair jasmines unfurl.

Appear before the inward eye
Moments old, fresh and alive
When a face most sweet and angelic
Smiled there, love and care in thrive.

Soon the mood begins to shift
As Nature spreads her divine lure,
Worries all and aches dissipate
In Nature most plain and pure.

I love this precious quiet hour
When solace divine I do find
In Nature's holy company,
A repose from life's daily grind.

Bewitching portrayal of nature outpouring its bounties at night that revives old memories to soothe a restless mind. Thanks for sharing this amazing poem. I would like to quote a few lines: Worries all and aches dissipate When solace divine I do find
