Finding Clarity Poem by Tammy Nicholls

Finding Clarity

Beyond those hills you see afar
Then down a flowing stream
Through the woods where shadows lurk
And sunlight fails to gleam

There you'll see a broken bridge
Within a dried up lake
A stone made path connects to these
Make sure this path you take

Follow till you see a tree
So old as life itself
Brittle yes this tree will seem
Though this tree's in perfect health

Sit beneath and close you eyes
Clear you mind of thought
Concentrate on only you
And the lessons you've been taught

Reminiss on the times gone by
Let all regrets flow free
For where you are, here right now
Is where your meant to be

I imagine this as being something my mum would read to me as a child. Memories pouring. Thank you.
