Tammy Nicholls Poems

A broken up tarmac, desolate road
Borders with buildings, which silently erode
Tumbleweeds play, the trees slowly die
This is a town that has now said goodbye
...

Reality I've seen for too many years
Even in dreams that I've dreamt
It's always the same, always has been
Nothing to me is exempt
...

Will you ever admit to the mistakes that you made
The lies that you told, the games that you played
Even right now the truths been revealed
You continue to lie through lips that are sealed
...

Could a psychotic psychiatrist mentally diagnose
A schizophrenic person with multiple lows
The first of them having bipolar and stress
The second a depressant who's heads in a mess
...

My little girl with hair of gold
And eyes as green as grass
My little boy has hair of sand
With hazel eyes, full of laughs
...

Lonely street, dark and late
She ran so fast and hard
Waiting there, watching her
He dragged her in a yard
...

The day has become so very cold
Sending chills all through my bones
My teeth begin to chatter away
As the wind, it sighs and moans
...

Today this old man told a story to me
Of this frightened young boy, he once used to be
Abused by his parents, ignored by his peers
A little boys dreams became nightmares and fears
...

Nature's finally had enough
No more green shall there be
We've destroyed her Faith in man
So now her wrath we'll see
...

Sometimes my life will bring me down
My face becomes an endless frown
These feelings seem to stir inside
Emotions which I normally hide
...

This news I've received has shattered my life
My hearts been sliced, my health is the knife
Inside I'm not well, emotions are raw
The pain that I'm in, forever I'm sore
...

It seeme to me, the ones I love
Do not really feel the same
I feel forgotten, left behind
To them, am I a shame
...

This little girl she said to me
Why do the star's shine bright
Are they there for us to see
When day does turn to night
...

Beyond those hills you see afar
Then down a flowing stream
Through the woods where shadows lurk
And sunlight fails to gleam
...

I sit here waiting
Like I always do
You have that hold on me
Am I fool
...

Just who am I, I ask myself
This person they call me
Though often they will call me you
So I am you, maybe
...

Say goodbye to the day
As night is soon to fall
The moon will now begin to rise
Providing light to all
...

Patience, dedication, determination and trust
Living, survival, these are a must
Budgeting, spending, credit or cash
Money, careers, decisions are rash
...

A single glow from my light
Illuminates the dark of night
Shadows dance, shadows fight
Within these shadows, things do bite
...

If you like to eat good food
Plus enjoy yourself as well
There is this little place I work
It's called the Hannans Hotel
...

The Best Poem Of Tammy Nicholls

Sands Of Time

A broken up tarmac, desolate road
Borders with buildings, which silently erode
Tumbleweeds play, the trees slowly die
This is a town that has now said goodbye

Spirits remain of those who once were
Here for one reason, they're here to deter
People that pass through this once thriving town
Never do smile, they leave with a frown

Haunted by visions they just can't explain
Not once do they ever, return there again
Nothing exists, the sun hasn't shined
The only sounds heard are those in your mind

Sooner or later, the buildings will fall
Not even a tree will be left standing tall
The road that remains will turn into dirt
This town now a painful memory of hurt.

Exactly what happened, will never be said
That truth remains buried, along with those dead
A secret now lies, deep in the land
Of a little old town now covered by sand

Tammy Nicholls Quotes

Always forgive though never forget, for when we forget we'll never forgive

So hard to remain sane yet easy to go insane
