Dying Love Poem by Tammy Nicholls

Dying Love

Once again just like before
You've ripped my heart in two
Just upped and left, without a word
What the hell did I do to you
I loved you with all the love I had
No matter how hard it became
My unconditional love for you
Has filled my heart with shame
The man I married and so adored
Is no longer that man to me
Yes I love him, I always will
Though together we can never be
Too many times I've felt this pain
A pain that will never heal
So to you my love I say goodbye
With the last of the love I feel
