Figures Poem by Laura Portillo

Figures

As she silently moves the desk, opens the window, she has nothing only herself and her emotions that are completely taking over control. she's ready to leave, but doesn't, what stops her from leaving is keeping her alive. the door opens a small and medium figure come in. the small one looks at the girl that's ready to leave and the medium one asks her to stay. she has no other choice, she made up her mind to stay. for now, but they know she will leave, they also now she'll come back whenever needed. so instead of leaving she hides the pain, instead of going insane she calms her desperation. instead of living, inside she's already dead.
