Fighting The Waves Of A Tide Poem by Karl Newton

Fighting The Waves Of A Tide

Tide will wait
For no man
Or so it's often said
The lonely fisherman
Standing with tides surrounding him
Slowly out rising his lonely figure
Almost appearing
To walk on water
One man
Versus the waves
That bring with them
The fish we wishes to catch
Man
Or
Tide
Who will win this match?
