So many tears this woman has shed, so many times
Her heart has bled.
She is a mother and a mother takes care of her fold
it matters not young or old.
A mother s love you can see in her eyes as her heart
Fills with so much pride.
Every step, every fall, every heartache she feels it all.
For nine months she felt every kick every turn
Every movement she did learn.
She knew its hunger pains and its comfort zone
Even when to be left alone.
The child knows the heartbeat that is giving it life
The mothers touch and the sacrifice.
There is a sacred bond that can never be broken
Between a mother and child of love unspoken.
