You can sit there and blame things on others
When in actuallity it is your own fault
I will take my actions into accountability
But only we know the true answers that lay here in front of us
Its my fault that I believed your lies
Its my fault that I let myself love you
Its my fault that my heart is bleeding here in the open
Its my fault that I walked into this situation
Its my fault that I was an unexperienced teenage girl with the power to look past all of your faults.
Its my fault for taking a chance on you and having it backfire.
Its my fault that i have amazing friends who picked up the broken pieces of me and put them back together.
Its my fault that I have the will to be better than you ever will be.
So yes, it is all MY fault.
Life takes you many places
but only you can choose to revisit them
I, for one, choose to discontinue allowing myself to feel this pain again
ending some things
starts new and better things
