Weep not dear ones, sigh no more
From all anguish, life at last set free
The vessel has anchored on its port
Cutting across waves that roar
Now I sleep gently, sleep in peace
Without dreams through the years
Fret no more, for death proves,
A farewell to all our pain and tears
Alien to fortune and to fame
Free of all earthly strife and stress
My body to be entombed in this vault
Where king and slave are made to coalesce
My pain and penance are so complete
When I heaved my final breath
My soul has reached that exalted place
When I swam across the river of death!
Now farewell dear ones, farewell to all
As I move into another state of bliss
Thank you for your love and care
Which I fear even there I would badly miss!
It's a touching poem, when I feel like this I write a funny poem like Dolphins, so like a good girl you also write a funny poem and enjoy it................10
