Far Away Poem by Harley My Last Name

Far Away

Even though I’m here, I am also there with you.
Every time your heart beats the closer I am to seeing you.
I might be mad but along as I know I have you at home, the harder I try and fight everyday.
Now I know I’m a dad and a husband.
I always go onto the battle field everyday but the real world is a battle field, too.
The longer I’m here the sooner I can see you.
Remember that I’ll remember you every minute of the day and in my dreams.
Now I know I’m a hero.
I’m your savior.
I’m everyone’s savior.
I’m one more person fighting for what I think is right.
I will breathe as long as you breathe.
Now I know I’m not just a husband and a hero,
I’m a soldier.

I belong Far Away.
