Far Poem by Peitho Enthermos

Far

You are a star, I can't touch you.

You are particularly the sun,
I know you're there, but I can't
look to you.

You are the horizon, I
can never get to you.

You are a dream, I can only think of you.

You are the sky,
you stay the same, wherever I go.

You are the wind. I feel you embracing me,
but I can't hold you back.

You know me, you love me,
but there's something we lack.

Can we ever touch the line?
Far- - it's a lesson for me to appreciate who's mine.
