Untitled To Be Poem by Peitho Enthermos

Untitled To Be

A painter may I be, I’ll understand,
“You cannot be a painter if you cannot paint”
Therefore, without arms, I’ll keep my dreams in a vision and I’ll stare on that tabula rasa
I’ll sketch with the point of my view, and when my tears fall down, they will spread like a blanket of Astra
One pair down.

A dancer may I be, a runner, a flipper or a great kicker, I’ll believe,
“I cannot go if I am not going.”
Therefore, without feet, I’ll keep my years rolling,
And I’ll ride with the moments and keep moving
Two pairs down.

A lawyer may I be, or a teacher or an orator, I’ll say,
“Say something, say something!
If you do not care, care even just for another darling! ”
Therefore, without the ability to speak, I’ll never keep quiet, I will annoy them with the sound of my appearance.
I will live, and I will smile, I will never quiet by my existence
Third part down.

Oh my eyes! They may be gone... but I hope, not beauty
My ears! May peace never grow weary
And I may not smell or taste, but oh, spare the air!
Spare the chaste!

Here it comes,
haste,
sharp, loud,
and steel!
It does kill!

I am unfortunate to know...
It does not take interest on my parts at all!

It was not my parts at all. It was not even my time.
Not death, for even to “solution” it does not rhyme

I could be the chance the Lord wants to give.
It is the glory of Jesus’,
it is in the Salvation,
He wants me to live!

This,
I am untitled to be...

interesting poem, written by such a young poet. It shows your poetic qualities and I've really enjoyed it. But.. maybe.. its title should be ''Untitled To Be'', not simply 'untitled'.. ;) Thanks for sharing, Tiffany
