Fantasy By Dd

'I wish to be
I wish to be a leaf blown in a gale
I wish to be a shell swept by the wave
I wish to be driftwood sucked in a current
I wish to be a snowflake consumed by the fire

I even want to be
A tree struck by lightning
A city destroyed by an earthquake
A village swallowed by the tsunami
A rock buried in volcanic lava

Give me eyes that only see one beauty
A mind that shrugs all logic
A nose that favours one scent
Alone in the crowd, except in one presence

I want the racing of the heart
Sleepless nights
Days of sighs
Weakness in the knees
Blushing cheeks
Blindness of the heart
Yearning and craving
The total surrender
One more time, head over heels
Passionately in love'
