Falling Over Nothing But Air Poem by Alicia Meyers

Falling Over Nothing But Air

I look over my shoulder,
And I see you staring at me,
I look back at my friends,
And I see them giggling.

We all talk about you,
Your eyes and all,
Whenever we're around each other,
I feel like I'm about to fall.

I'm falling for you,
Falling over head,
I've been stuck a lot,
With a cloud above my bed.

Raining over me,
Until a boy comes and saves me,
From this fire breathing dragon,
And is my hero for eternity.

I know you're single,
Don't get me wrong,
But I hope we'll hook up,
And it will be for long.

But once I see you in the hallway,
You're kissing another girl,
It breaks my heart,
And torns up my world.

I'm falling for you,
Falling over head,
There's this cloud,
Always been above my bed.

It won't leave my room,
Until a boy saves me,
And loves me for a long time,
For eternity.

I'm falling over,
Falling over nothing but air,
It seems like you found your true love,
And when you look my way you don't even care.
