Failure

When I wake up and everything’s going great
I know it won’t last, it’s just my fate.
I try to have a positive outlook on life,
But it’s hard when mine’s full of pain and strife.
Nothing I try to do ever works,
It’s always there, the failure lurks,
Rising to tell me every single day,
That I’m doomed to be a failure in every way.
