Fading With An Answer Poem by Shane Bryan

Fading With An Answer

Fading

By Shane Bryan

Walking down this street now mystery,

Faded memories, empty history,

No reflection in this window,

Passing by just like a shadow,

Now a ghost in this town,

Am I enough to stick around,

Because the clock is ticking down.

A fading light,

Nothing to hide,

There's me and you,

You can see right through,

The past I regret,

One wish to forget,

Is my destiny met.

Is this right or am I wrong,

Does the answer take that long,

What do I do

I dream and see you

Or is this a nightmare

I know life isn't fair

So I caution, Beware.
