Eyewitness Poem by Matteo Di Punzio

Eyewitness

People say God could not create a place worst than hell,
Forgetting to live on Earth.
As a palace full of wealth, unreachable by every guest
Life offers, but never gives.

Poor fools these humans,
they believe in vain to achieve happiness
but only result is the worsening of their agony
secretely desired by each of them.
