Eyes Poem by Hannah Minton

i have seen those two before
they glitter when theyre happy
and make oceans when theyre sad
they watch over so protectivly
as if they know something is going to happen
why do i know them so well
i dont think ive ever met you before
is it fate?
i wouldnt have forgotten those blue gems of quickly
yet i know them from someone
they are those of my friends
he knows just what to say
he doesnt give away his feelings
but they do
they tell just what is going on in your mind
i love them so
they protect me
and make me feel so safe
please dont take them away
i love your eyes
and by the looks of it they love me too
