Eyes Poem by Cynthia Buhain-baello

Eyes

Gestures, actions, may speak volumes
While reflexes suggest with movements,
Words cunningly flatter and they may consume
A perception so far from what is meant.

Grayed feelings that go into hiding
A farce quite easy to uncover
For the eyes- they are so revealing!
And the truth there can make us shudder.
