Ey çok kitaplar okuyan sen mi tutarsın bana dak
Tâ bilesin sırrı ayan gel aşktan oku bir sebak

Ger sen seni bildin ise sûret terkin urdun ise
Sıfat nedir bildin ise ne kim edersen bana hak

Bilmeyesin bed-nâm u nâm bir ola sana has u âm
Bildim ise ilmi tamam gel aşkdan oku bir sebak

Okumagıl ilmin yüzün ilme amel gerek güzin
Aç gönülden bâtın gözün âşık ma’şûk hâline bak

Bakgıl âşık ne işdedir ma’şûka ol cünbiştedir
İkisi bir teşviştedir iki sanıp bakma ırak

İkilikten geçemedin hâli hâlden seçemedin
Dosttan yana uçamadın fakılık oldu sana fak

Cübbe vü hırka tâc ü taht verse gerekti aşka baç
Dörtyüz mürîd ü elli hac terkeyledi Abdülrezzak

Onun gibi din ulusu hâc öptü çaldı nâkûsu
Sen dahî bırak nâmusu gel beri putun oda yak

Âşık ma’şûk birdir bile aşktan gelir her söz dile
Bîçâre YÛNUS ne bile ne kara okudu ne ak
