Extra-Terrestrial Ghosts Poem by Naveed Akram

Ghosts are needed because they are rare,
Open the doors for their passage, and let
Speech inhibit their talk, in the world.
Haunted is a planet as well as a soul,
Going to houses haunted is unallowed, unfaithful
To the rest of humanity. We are travelling with experts
Who have green and red and blue, the primary colours.
In each is the seed of pleasure in the eye, in the one who beholds
As a man of silence. Describe this planet, I say to you.
Haunted planets are the worlds of non-delight,
And a Martian Landscape is far too ugly for us,
We shall outline them now with disgust.
