I knew what it was.
Long before it was to be,
What it is.
You should know that I did.

"Uh...
Then why did you just say,
A few days ago...
You knew nothing about it? "

What goes up goes down.
And often,
What is down goes up.
Even that which is yesterday,
Was not for tomorrow.
Every expert agrees with me,
That tomorrow has a different look...
Than it had years ago.
You of all people should know this.
Am I the only genius around here?
What a stupid question.
Of course I am!

-Why are the people,
Applauding and cheering this...
This...nonsense?
Why? -

"Think about it.
Where else on Earth,
Can anyone get...
Such an unbelievable display,
Of entertaining mindlessness...
In the most jaw dropping of ways.
And FREE! ? "

-Oh.
I didn't realize this isn't serious stuff.-

That's a relief.
I was trying to understand it.
