Exams Period
Books, books, projects and that exam,
Math, management, economics, and law;
Almost done, but forgot to write a case, damn!
Where are my books of adventures to leave me in awe?
Finally done, I need a break and I hope I'll get that A!
Got to cook something; how about a chocolate soufflé?
I think I know a recipe to brighten up the day
Now, where's my book of the Chefs' King, Escoffier?

I spent 50 consecutive years in academia,16 years as a student and then 34 years as an English teacher. I was so ready to retire from the classroom! What do I do in my retirement? read, write and write about poetry; read literature, history, philosophy, etc. In other words, I'm still learning, which I love. O'm like the character in the Borges story who lives in a library. But I want to celebrate with one of your chocolate souffles! !
