Ex Poem by Hannah Torres

Ex

He texted me today.
I froze, I did not know what to say.
The man that I loved and wanted to be with.
The man that only say me as a physical object.
But maybe that was my fault.
I gave him what he asked for and wanted.
Hoping to get his love.
But only getting his lust.
His lusting after me.
After my body.
I always wondered if I was more to him then just some pretty body.
If my body was just an addition to my mind.
If he saw just the curves of my body or the curves of my mind.
I honestly don't know if I was more than a body to him.
If my physical was more important to him than my mental.
All I know is that I felt like I lost him and his love.
But honestly he lost me and my love.
