Everything Is Fair Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Everything is fair in love and war,
Prove your intelligence and excellence at par,
Even if no means to ride in car,
Entertain friends in shopping and visits to bar,

Boy may think it is simple game too lure a girl,
Great adventure as if to lay hands on pearl,
Attempt in orthodox way to impress upon,
No success in sight but still carries on,

Not to be too harsh on them for such move,
Persuasion with little care and fears to remove,
Little failure may prove them lame duck,
Nothing may succeed like successful work,

It is adventurous age that needs ample time,
Priorities are different and goal not prime,
Nowhere to go or nothing in sight but still big target,
Not always ready or in position to forgive and forget,

In their opinion ending of life is only way to show,
Not swimming across odds or against water flow,
Out of proportion and in situation always blow,
Childish action to exhibit and immaturity to grow,

Still you may win over other side with false promises,
Inaccurate planning with less gain and more misses,
Boosting to handle the matter with great confidence
Continue to learn more from lapses and incidences,

It is not less than holy war or crusade,
With strong resolution and powerful drive to invade,
Ways may be improper but end could be noble,
After all life is so important with little means available,

So everything is fine if intention is clear
Nothing to worry and nothing to hear
All difficulties to self and gracefully bear
Not to complain or to shed the tears

Not to compromise at all at the cost of dignity
All efforts to attain goal in near vicinity
Not to malign others and to maintain sanctity
To strive very hard and thrust on continuity


Even if means are not fair for adoption
No alternative is in sight as possible option
Then also drive should be on without fail
All possibilities explored for chances to avail

Why it has not been taken as totally unacceptable?
One may be very brave, able but not capable
Success may elude him from gaining the strength
He may opt for any ways or go to any length

Life is not passing reference but crucial test
You got to perform all out and to your best
You need to see that it is totally not out of tune
As you are not pardoned for anything or immune

Wars aren’t easily won if it has no tactics
It may have flaws and lack statistics
Still if some unfair means are inducted
End result is holy if properly conducted
