Everyday Done To Do Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Everyday Done To Do

There are many living,
For themselves an attention to get.
Less giving it to pay.
Or take care of their own business.
With this admitted done to say...
They are disciplined and motivated.
Everyday.
Done to do this and perform.
Without announcing to expect, the
Applause to receive.
For some who would believe,
A normal activity.
Yet...
There will be those who will perceive,
A displaying of their ego...
Is as normal of an activity as breathing.
With it hoped also noticed,
Is a halo witnessed they adorn.
Everyday done to do.
To refuse and acknowledge,
A boring of someone.
Until their patience is gone.
