Every Day Poem by Kyrsten Gaddis

Every Day

Rating: 5.0

Every day,
We learn,
And we yearn
For our lives to get better.
What price will we pay?
Will it be our beloved?
Our Despised?
Or our very soul?
But why pay such a price,
For something
That is so easy to get?
Why pay for happiness,
When we can make it
Ourselves?

Pretty darned solid bit of writing there..very wise words..this is the second poem of yours that I have read and I am already impressed..this one is very good, telling a simple tale of logic..nicely.
