Eterna Dor


Já te esqueceram todos neste mundo...
Só eu, meu doce amor, só eu me lembro,
Daquela escura noite de setembro
Em que da cova te deixei no fundo.

Desde esse dia um látego iracundo
Açoitando-me está, membro por membro.
Por isso que de ti não me deslembro,
Nem com outra te meço ou te confundo.

Quando, entre os brancos mausoléus, perdido,
Vou chorar minha acerba desventura,
Eu tenho a sensação de haver morrido!

E até, meu doce amor, se me afigura,
Ao beijar o teu túmulo esquecido,
Que beijo a minha própria sepultura!
