Estrangement Poem by Bireswar Halder

Estrangement

Solidarity gives man a new life,
To lead his journey against the strife.
He finds everything most delightful,
And enjoys every moment as wonderful.

My life turns to be a string-less sitar,
Without you, no rhythm, no clatter.
Two lives composed a melodious tune,
Sudden tear of strings made it distuned.

You are relieved having no strain,
But your void gives agony and pain.
Heart-burning is terrible than bonfire,
None can douse except you, my dear.

I will not get your love anymore,
Estrangement always agitates furor,
It is difficult to pass all the days,
Still I accept whatever destiny pays.

Remembering you in my heart with smile,
I will walk alone miles after miles.
With your sweet memories as viaticum,
The pain of journey will be overcome.
