Enfold Me Poem by Joyce Chelmo

Enfold Me

Rating: 4.8

Memories of you enfold me
through the chill of lonely nights.
Every tiny bud has the right
to bloom.

Our love lives in blue notes
under the untouchable pearl Venus.

Our Dreams mingled with tears
in the rain of our passions.
Our pleas with the stars not granted.

(in memory of unrequited love)

Some lovely images presented with every word fitting into place. 'Our love lives in blue notes' and Our Dreams mingled with tears / in the rain of our passions.' is remarkable. Kindest regards, Greg
