Endless Love Poem by K.N. Sheldon

Endless Love

When they said love was beautiful,
I didn’t know they meant this.
Tests occur daily in this class,
But, we seem to be passing.
Every song sounds like a love song,
In this passionate ballad.
I have the world,
When he talks to me.
A million words can’t match one kiss.
When he holds me,
I don’t need any other shelter.
He’s perfect in every way.
If the world fell away,
We would stay in place.
Arm in arm.
Hand in hand.
Soul within soul.
Endless love.
A billion butterflies.
The rain could fall,
But, i wouldn’t notice.
His eyes meet mine.
Our lips touch.
They say we’re too young,
To know what love is.
But, if this isn’t love,
What is?
What could be more,
Amazing.
More precious.
More out of this world.
What could make life worth living,
More than this?
I say love is ageless.
Babies love.
Children love.
We can love too.
Obstacles will keep us apart.
But we are two souls in one.
We can conquer anything.
Nothing of this world,
Could make me stop loving him.
And no force would go unreckoned,
When trying to drive us apart.
If I ever love this way again,
i would be surprised.
Nothing can match this feeling.
Tears are constant.
But they are tears full of love.
Full of joy.
Full of hope.
They symbolize the emotion.
The compassion.
The need that this love instills.
They symbolize everything wonderful about the world.
For this is a truly endless love.
