Elysian Lustre Poem by Job Laz

Elysian Lustre

Rating: 2.0

Steadily the air grazed
Sweetly against my jolly cover
Leaving my heart cloyed,
Lost entirely in the swell of ecstasy,
With a gold fabric it muffles me,
With fumy yet dazzling glint I rest,
My heart ever still against
The fretful spin of time,
With untold bliss I suckle to repose of ancient enigma,
With rich glow I’m baited to dream immortality,
My smile often flutters
But daring my will stands
With silver flints I’m encoded to outline the sprain,
On silky wings I enroute the Elysian lustre,
As I trek the Milky Way
Gently my mind is enraptured to intimacy foretold
A mystery embedded on the lips of fate.
