Election Process Poem by Rimni chakravarty

Election is a regular phenomena in a country like India
Where we are federal in structure and united to the spirit
Yet violence occur
Why? When? How?
None can predict in this heat of the city
Every Party is hurling abuses against the other
We need not pay tax when speak
So easily defame others to reach the peak
It seems we are fatigued and sick
Or else had we been happy and contended would we apply such a trick?
To utter such words when know speech is silver, but silence is gold
I wonder what will happen when grow old?
