Elation^infinity Poem by Sneha Murali

Elation^infinity

Without you it feels as though the air has left my lungs
You keep me warm with your love, your thermal care
And I needn't have to look back from there
Because it was 'you' that i needed all along

You dispelled trouble, the core of sadness
with your noble heart and fervent desire
to love and be loved.
I know not how you do it so well

I suppose its an art, that put a spell on my heart
And magic fingers you wave around
And drag me into the chasm of bliss
almost in rapturous elation that is

I see stars in your eyes and heaven in your smile
And I don't want this fire to burn out, this blaze shall remain
I know I'm not much of a star-gazer
But I can have you look at me forever
