Eland Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Eland

Eland, land, and, lad, end, lane, lean, Dan, dean, lead, deal, led;
But, he stood at the doorway of love!
And, the empty jail was like a small jar of oil.
The muse of life and the muse of love,
To twin and to toss like a ball!
And to win the game of love in the land of ther living;
Jumping up and down like an eland from Africa,
As one understands the true meaning of love.
