Eastland County Flowers Poem by Theodora (Theo) Onken

Eastland County Flowers

Rating: 5.0

Serene moments pacify
Gentle breeze whispers: 'I am here'
Feather white clouds move above
...I can feel your presence so near

Though gone from my eyes of reason
...A bit blinding by passages of time
Yet sensations come bounding back
Still in my heart, you are mine

Never to relinquish past memories
...For they are locked inside of me
Feelings, i yet embace, this day
Only prove that we are eternity

Everlasting flowers, not as most others
That bud and bloom, then wilt over time
We are simply and truly forever
...So perfectly permanent in my mind
