Earth-2
How terrible will it feel
If blue seas vanish
Leaving there only craters deep?
What an ugly look will it be
If we do not find
Fluffy clouds floating
Nor the joyous birds flying?
Where will go the lions
Monkeys and bears
If there are no forests
What shall we drink
If all rivers dry
Or the sky has no clouds to bless?
How dark will it be
If from this earth
All colors are wiped
Leaving only a color black?
For too long man has, to avarice subscribe Hastening all to the brink of ecocide Yet nature will in time, to her ills prescribe But mortal man does not have time on his side Your peek at the future is so very clear, Thank you Bharati

Both of your earth poems are really beautiful. What we are doing to our climate and the way it is effecting our earth is a crime for which the punishment would be given to all of earth's habitant alike. Your poems do a great service in raising the awareness for this most pressing problem. Really where will we all be?
Exactly before this happens, lets wake up. A great message to the reader by painting a grim picture which might result from the man's blunders and tampering with nature. A10
The closing gave me the worst case of shivers ever. That was strong, horrifying, and unfortunately so very possible. A valuable poem and written exactly right. A 10 for sure

My idiot president wants to get rid of environmental regulations. I mourn for the future of our planet
right, Kelly.. and Trump's denying of climate changes is one (the major, indeed) of the reasons of my choosing this topic for the book 'Poetry for Our Planet'.. BTW: where's your poem for the collection..? ;)

Climate change is a critical issue before human civilization.Our earth is in real danger.Now climate is changing rapidly.in my State, Summer season is extending.Many people die of heatwaves.The rich and developed Nations should be more responsible and work toward protection of environment.
