Early Spring, Autumn Leaves (4 Haiku) Poem by Ben Gieske

Early Spring, Autumn Leaves (4 Haiku)

Rating: 3.0

early spring
so many robins
worrying the worms

with every robin
day too sounds
with color

autumn leaves
dropping goodbyes
to summer shade

scooping up the sand
waves questioning
my fingers

Lovely and elegant. I enjoy the way the second and third stanzas each carry forward an element from the preceding stanza, Robert
