DYING IS NOT A HAPPY THING
Dying is not a happy thing-
We see it again and again-
The Pain, the Sadness, the Futility-
We all have to die,
But this is not really a consolation
For anyone-
Dying is not a happy thing
I saw it again today-
And I have already seen it many many times-
One day others
Will see this
From and for me.

Not a happy a thing when its occurring. But it does bring you to grips with your own mortality. And the acceptance of it. Death and dying are two different things. Death is upon reaching the end of your suffering from dying.
