Dwindling Away
dwindling down like dying leaves
severed from all sides
a bond now gone
ever out of reach
as each tries to better their lives
what a pittifull display
one must put on
with short memories
and silent cries
now realizing
what was regrettably
left behind
this mutual feeling
finally dies
