Dusted Memories Poem by Alexander Foald

Dusted Memories

Cross back to when
I stopped this walk and see
Remember the tears I cried out
Still remain stoned in my heart

I figure out you didn’t want to
Or never exactly think about
Telling me your deep aversion
That it might have change my way

Couldn’t you just sit down and relax
Like everything else would be okay
Couldn’t you just get back and thwart
Like everyday else was the same

So lame and ashamed
This wind don’t bring us more dust
Than just an empty dream on a peep
Hiding the truths you’ve known
