Drumming Rhythms Intensely Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Drumming Rhythms Intensely

Hoofs beating in this mind as the drummer hits rhythms
with an intense feeling of riding into the old west.

Sun rises and sets, coming over them, showing off their
beauty and tantalizing this poet's mind and intellect.

Happening all at once, melodies riding up and down dusty
worn-out trails heading up mountains and into canyons.

Cacti standing guard, taking a stand for this old west as
the music keeps playing on, taking us into its midst.
