Drowning In Your Lies Poem by Samantha Rose Turner

Drowning In Your Lies

Rating: 4.0

Are you drowning in your lies,
Falling so deep beyond the skies?
Trying to take back what you done?
It can be pointless to try to run.

Do you drown deep in your lies,
Letting the stars fill your eyes?
Glistening so bright,
In the moons early light,

Bringing the glare of the spirits deadly stare,
You try to pretend its not there.
It always is,
Your followed everywhere.

Do you drown beyond the ground,
Into a pit of continuous lies?
There’s nothing there, but the souls dead lives,
But knowing you, you wouldn’t care.
