Drinking Water Bottles

Rating: 5.0

Water bottles, water bottles come to me,
You are so needy so lovely let me see.
You are needed by everyone in all season,
In summer your demand is more, simple is reason.

You quench the thirst and dearer to everybody,
In anytime I know you are needed by somebody.
You travel in air with human on flight,
Xerantic throat becomes wet in much height.

Water and water everywhere water we do see,
But we can't drink; it is salty water of sea.
Drinking water is special it is with you,
In bus, in train you are needed by few.

You sacrifice yourself and help the creature,
You satisfy one's life and needful for feature.
In every hotel and restaurant you rest in freezer,
Many people in gathering need you in leisure.

You are pure and you have no violence,
Though people quarrel themselves you remain silence.
Coldness is your nature; you become cold from hot,
It is a lesson to all, without coldness life is naught.

Vaillancourt | Reply picture of Fay Slimm xYes dear poet friend water fit for drinking is precious and needs never to be taken for granted where its thirst-quenching qualities are found in abundance. Your verse reminds us how needed pure water is to those who can only store it bottled. Thank you for these words of tribute to its liquid gift. 14 May 2015 by Fay Slimm | Reply picture of eleanor prince xI usually have a glass of filtered rain water by my side but just now I didn't remember and I feel I need to have some now - most of us are said to be significantly dehydrated and coffee apparently makes it worse so off I go to respond to the body's many cries for water. Thank you for sharing this wonderful piece. 18 Jun 2015 by Sneha SK | Reply picture of Mark Peterson xHadn't heard of 'xerantic' before and always enjoy adding to my vocabulary. Your poem is very pertinent to reflect on, given the recent tragedies in India due to the temperature. I was fortunate during my time there that the temperature was not overwhelming. At Akshardham in Delhi, however, it was about all I could bear. But the place was so amazing, I set concerns over the weather aside. I hope water is ever near for you. 21 Jul 2015 by Mark Peterson | Reply

Hopefully the businesses producing the actual bottle whilst processing them are also thinking of the best recycling after use. Love your words. Thank You

Truly, water is life. C.V. Raman described water as elixir of life. Water and life are one, so, water accompanies man in bottle
