Dreams Poem by Karen Degnan-foiles

Dreams

Rating: 5.0

It sure is funny how the mind wanders
One minute you're asleep
The next, you're mind flounders

Your mind decides how the story ends
When in real life you just can't contend

Your mind escapes from the daily grind
As your sub-conscious takes you for a ride

Into places where you have been
Or view traces of what could have been

To a place where nothing is what it seems
You can be a anything in your dreams
