Dreamland Meadow
Beautiful river of scents and hues,
fresh breezes sway your gentle waves,
butterflies’ wings flap above your charm,
spiders form webs into a see-through lace.
Each flower petal is so pleasing to the eye,
all looks as if was made of a mist -
so rich in colours, a heart warming balm,
fulfilling all senses delicious feast.
Don’t fade too soon, just live and bloom,
inhale sky’s mystery, exhale your smile,
dance in the winds, though they might be cold,
just thrive in my heart for a longer while.
I have been writing since I was a child. I find inspiration in many things, but nature is the main theme of my poems. I'd like to take every reader who stops by for a journey through magic and beauty of the world that surrounds us.Loveliest put by the dear poetess Audrey Heart.5 Stars Full on Top!
