Dreaming Poem by Cathryn Martin

Dreaming

Rating: 5.0

Dreaming is a gift,
At least that’s what I think,
Dreams about sweets and chocolate,
About swimming in a sink,

Dreams are all different,
Some are nice, some are not,
But dreaming of love,
Is better than not,

Nightmares aren’t nice,
But we all get a few,
That one about falling,
Or being eaten by goo,

The best are all different,
Each one better than the last,
Get your sleep and get dreaming,
You should be happy quite fast.

to dream means having to wake to dream is to realize that it could be too late
